THE DEN - ACUSHNET, MASSACHUSETTS

ONE GUY.ONE WORKSHOP.NO RESTOCKS.

Every Kraken piece is made by hand in a 200-square-foot room called The Den. When a design sells out, it's retired. There are no second runs.

What happens in The Den

Every piece starts as raw material. Titanium plate. Brass block. Vegetable-tanned leather hide. Nothing is pre-cut, pre-stamped, or pre-finished by a vendor.

The work happens on a fiber laser, a CNC mill, a hand torch, and a leather bench - in that order, depending on the piece. A single ball marker takes 47 minutes of machine time and another 20 minutes of hand-finishing. Most weeks I make 50 to 100 pieces. That's the ceiling.

When the drop sells out, the file gets archived and the design never runs again. This isn't a marketing decision. It's the only way a one-person shop can keep making things worth keeping.

Every LIMITED EDITION piece ships with a Promenade

A Promenade is a hand-numbered certificate that travels with the piece. It records the drop name, the edition number, and the date it left The Den.

It's not a marketing card. It's the receipt for the 67 minutes it took to make the thing in your hand.

You don't need another ball marker.

You probably already own one. Maybe three. The reason to buy from Kraken isn't function - it's that the piece you carry says something about how you think about the things you carry. That's the entire thesis.
