🔥 About the Maker: Marc from Kraken Golf

I grew up in the small, hard-working town of Acushnet, Massachusetts, just a short drive from Cape Cod — the son of a steelworker who built his life with grit and calloused hands. My dad used to tell me,

“Marc, you want to work with your head, not your hands.”

So, in true Kraken fashion… I listened. Sort of.

As a kid, I was always sketching, always creating. Art was my first language — my sketchpad never left my side. But like a lot of people, I buried that creative side to chase a "safe" path. I climbed the corporate ladder in the software world, provided for my family, and checked all the right boxes…

But every Monday morning felt like a hangover from the weekend I didn’t want to end.

Now, seven machines deep and back in my hometown of Acushnet with my wife Melissa and our three amazing kids, I'm still creating — diving into leathercraft, painting, and experimental art that finds its way into every Kraken piece.

Whether it's a blade headcover, a divot tool, or a limited edition ball marker, I’m always chasing that sweet spot where art meets performance.
