Every golfer you've ever feared on the back nine had one thing in common. Nothing got to them. Not the water left, not the three-footer for the match, not the guy in the group talking through their backswing. That's not coldness. That's what it looks like when the thing driving you sits somewhere nobody else can reach.
Heartless is a rib cage. Solid stainless steel, cnc-milled, with the rib cage tack welded to the body. The finish is exactly what came off the machine - the concentric tool paths, the weld color at the edges, nothing polished away to hide how it was made. It looks raw because it is.
Look through the ribs. Where the heart should be, there's a Kraken. Solid 14k gold, mirror polished, and it isn't fixed to anything. It lives loose inside the cavity. Tilt the marker and it slides. Set it down and it settles. Drop it on the bar and you'll hear it before anyone sees it.
That's the whole idea. Steel on the outside, gold where it counts, and the only people who ever find out are the ones who look close enough.
At 37 grams and poker chip size, it lands on the green with some authority. Thumb the ribs on the walk up. Mark your ball with it. Pick it up and feel the Kraken shift back into place.
