🔮 HOBO LUCK BALL MARKER - TIMASCUS EDITION
A Kraken classic - reborn in metal that didn't exist when the game was invented.
This is the Hobo Luck Ball Marker in Timascus, and it doesn't fake its scars. It earns its color. Timascus is layered titanium alloys forge-welded into a single billet, then heat-colored in the shop - no paint, no plating, no coating. The purple, blue, and gold you see is oxide on titanium, coaxed out by flame and timing. Get it wrong by a few seconds and the whole piece goes back to bare metal. Every one of these came off the torch a little different because there is no way to make them the same.
The front carries the Hobo Luck engraving in full - horseshoe, clover, the hand of cards, LIBERTY and LUCK stamped in like a rail-yard tattoo, 777 and 1937 tucked in for anyone who reads the details. Old-world craft, outsider grit, and the belief that luck isn't found. It's forged. The back is stripped down to the Kraken cut clean through the center, so the layers show all the way to the core.
Scalloped EDC edges are milled, not stamped. The banding runs through the thickness, not across the surface, so the pattern on the rim is the same pattern inside the metal. Drop it, pocket it, scrape it against a hundred coins - it doesn't wear off because it isn't on. It's in.
This isn't a finish. This is what the material is.
🎯 SPECS & FEATURES:
- Material: Timascus - forge-welded layered titanium alloys, lighter than brass, harder than the game deserves
- Finish: Heat-anodized in-house; no dyes, no coatings, no two the same
- Engraving: Full Hobo Luck front detail; Kraken cutout back
- Edges: Machined scallops for grip and a profile you'll recognize in the dark
- Dimensions: 1.35" diameter × ~0.19" thick
- Weight: 18g of titanium that will outlast the bag it rides in
- Comes with the Promenade certificate of authenticity
⚠️ Note: Titanium oxide color shifts subtly with angle and light. The piece in your hand will not photograph exactly like the piece in these photos, and neither will anyone else's. That's the whole point of a golf ball marker made in a one-man shop instead of a factory. Windex wipe to bring back the brillance!
💥 If you don't believe in luck, but you still carry it anyway - carry it in the one metal that couldn't be faked if someone tried.
