The design, the weight, the quality, the aura - perfected. Makes me regret buying all my other cheap ball markers because this Koi 2.0 ball marker takes the #1 spot and won’t be replaced unless it’s by another Kraken Golf marker. Honestly, heirloom quality and looking to pass it down to my kids (hoping they take after their dad’s love for golf).

It’s brass. It feels solid. I feel like it could have been amazing. It’s missing refined touches such as brass black in the recesses. That any maybe even doing multiple depth cuts to have the coy really pop out. But it is as advertised and it works well to make the ball.
This piece is 🔥. All my golf buddies wanted to steal it. Told them they couldn’t have it. If my golf game was gonna suck I was gonna look good getting off the bus.

This is not a loud marker. It's a controlled one.
The Koi 2.0 takes a familiar symbol and gives it more depth, more contrast, and more presence. Machined from solid brass, this piece uses a two-level engraving structure to create separation between the subject and the world beneath it: the koi rides on the upper plane, while the pebble floor drops below into a matte brass field that gives the entire face more dimension and calm tension.
What makes this one work is the finish balance. The top surface, outer edge, and koi carry a soft sheen, catching light in a way that gives the marker movement even when it's sitting still. Underneath, the matte brass pebble background holds everything down and gives the piece its visual weight. That contrast is the whole point. Clean where it needs to be. Textured where it earns it.
At 34 grams, this has the weight a real marker should have in hand. Not flimsy. Not throwaway. Just solid brass with enough thickness and presence to feel like a permanent part of the pocket rotation.
