He doesn't play Tuesdays. He doesn't run the weekly circuit. The Captain makes landfall for one thing - a major - then goes back under until the next one matters.
This is his England mark. Machined from solid stainless and blasted to a dead-flat satin so nothing competes with the inlays: the Captain in polished brass, horns up, standing over the red cross of England. Thirty grams of steel that sits in the palm like it means it.
Turn it over and the reason is written plain.
One face. One drop. When these are gone, the Captain wears something else next time.
